Relaxed portraits in San Francisco by Nicola Percy

Some form of camera is my constant companion.  I love it when that is one of my 'proper' camera's so I can capture those moments with all the dexterity offered.  These are some family photos whilst in San Francisco - Fort Mason to be precise.

My Bump to Baby by Nicola Percy

Part one - the Bump - I dreamt of an Ingres like painting that became the starting point for this pregnancy session.  I wanted to create an opulent, lush setting for Shanna who looked amazing.  Being a hairdresser she arrived looking stunning with hair and make-up perfectly camera ready.
We had a great time and made merry.  Will be posting the Baby part soon.

First Friday Feature by Nicola Percy

As part of First Friday Santa Cruz 5 artists were commissioned to capture an essence of what is happening in the art scene.  I commissioned a special device to sit on my lens so that I could photograph in circular form - a peephole.  Its a nod to many of the films I studied with Al Reece whilst at Maidstone College of Art in the History of Experimental Cinema.  I was a filmmaker for many moons prior to committing to photography.
